The reason behind the name "Read Between The Lines" is because if you pull apart some of the recoreded lines, you will be able to tell what is really being said. This album is not about the quality of the lyrics but of the way they sound. I wanted to make an album with major chord songs and less minor. I am so focused on the minor that it can bring my mood down sometimes. So many pop songs / dance songs have minor chords and I wanted to go out of my "comfort zone / usual" minor chord mind. While listening to this, focus on the way the music sounds first and then what is being said, read between the lines.
